Lake Rabun Foundation
The Lake Rabun Foundation was created in 1987 to unite Lake Rabun families as committed and caring neighbors in Rabun County. It is a Field of Interest Fund at North Georgia Community Foundation, Inc., with a directed focus on addressing needs in Rabun County.
The Foundation provides college scholarship assistance, promotes education, and offers financial and volunteer support for Rabun charitable organizations. As community partners, the Lake Rabun Foundation seeks to improve lives in Rabun County by supporting organizations involved in education, child welfare, food ministries, environmental programs, and community development. Priority is given to programs that encourage long-term efforts to develop people, promote self-sufficiency, and improve the standard of living.
