The 1915 Society, named for the year Lake Rabun was created, was established in 2015 to recognize those who are helping ensure the good works of the Lake Rabun Foundation by including a planned gift to the Foundation as part of their estate planning.
They are leaving a legacy that will help the Foundation continue its mission of providing scholarship assistance and supporting the Rabun community for years to come.
The Foundation is a fund at North Georgia Community Foundation, a Section 501(c)(3) tax exempt public charity.
The general information provided here is not intended as tax advice. Tax effects vary by individual and you should consult your tax advisor regarding the optimal charitable giving strategy as you consider support of the Lake Rabun Foundation.
