Drawdown of Lake Rabun

Dear Lake Resident

There will be a required drawdown of Lake Rabun today Monday March 17th. This drawdown is needed to make repairs to the draft tube at the dam. The drawdown of Lake Rabun will start today and the lake will be down until Friday March 28^th. Once this work is completed the lake will refill.

Lake Rabun will need to be lowered (3’-5′ feet) to an elevation of approximately 1683.0. (Normal lake elevation is 1688.0). The lake should be down near 5’ feet down by Friday March 21^st. Once this work is complete the lake will begin to refill to normal elevation later that day.
