Petition to Oppose the Narrows Rezoning Application

An application was submitted for a 26 acre parcel of land in the Narrows at 5495 Lake Rabun Road to rezone from Agricultural to Vacation Cottage.  The LRA opposed this rezoning at a Rabun County Planning Commission meeting at which the rezoning was unanimously recommended for denial to the Rabun County Commission for consideration at its meeting scheduled March 26, 2024.  

The LRA requests your signature on this petition to support our opposition to this zoning application based upon allowable development density, concentrated rental use, lack of specific development plans, and potential lakefront development incompatible with surrounding land use.
