Annual Fund
The Annual Fund has become the cornerstone of fundraising to support the Lake Rabun Foundation’s mission of providing scholarship assistance and charitable grants in Rabun County. Each year, LRA members are solicited one-time for support of the Foundation.
Regardless of the amount, your contribution to the Annual Fund is a testament to your dedication to the Foundation and its community work. We hope every LRA family will join us in supporting the Annual Fund. As a token of our appreciation, donors are recognized on the LRA website.
2026 Annual Fund Letter
March 2026
Dear LRA Member,
A gentleman involved with a Rabun food ministry remarked, “The folks on Lake Rabun do so much for this community—you help kids by supporting the food programs— you provide scholarships—and you ask nothing in return”.
Most LRA members feel blessed to be part of this community and are happy to offer support for our neighbors. Years ago, LRA President John Williams referred to the Lake Rabun Foundation as “the heart of the LRA”.
This is a request for your support of the 2025 Lake Rabun Foundation Annual Fund. This is in lieu of the annual fund letter you have received in the mail for many years. The format has changed but the mission remains the same. The Lake Rabun Foundation Annual Fund is the cornerstone of our fundraising efforts.
Contributions to the Annual Fund have enabled the Foundation to continue increasing the number and amount of scholarships awarded to Rabun students. Assistance to Rabun non-profits involved in education, child welfare, and food ministries has increased 5-fold over the past 10 years.
