Many have asked about GPC’s infrastructure work around the lake and at the top of Nacoochee Dam. GPC is modernizing transmission lines and replacing substations around its North Georgia lakes.
The Terrora Common – Seed Lake project consists of two new substations, one at Terrora Common and the other at Seed Lake.
As part of that work, transmission lines are being upgraded with new poles and lines, and that necessitates providing access to utility equipment in the transmission line right-of-way.
Some of those lines are also being buried along Lake Seed.
