to thank our Rabun County First Responders and raise funds to assist the
employees of Max’s Lakeside!
Max’s Lakeside suffered catastrophic damage from a fire on Friday, August 30th.
Our first responders quickly responded to the alarm, saving the historic restaurant building and protecting surrounding structures. We salute the bravery and dedication of our first responders!
We also love our Max’s, and while our friends at Legacy Ventures will rebuild, that will take some time. Legacy Ventures and Twin Smokers are donating a fabulous catered BBQ lunch (plus a few culinary surprises!).
Thanks to this generous donation, all net proceeds from this event will provide financial assistance to 27 beloved and dedicated hourly Max’s employees whose jobs were interrupted by the fire.
