SUMMARY:Fall Lake Cleanup
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Fall Lake Cleanup! Get your hands dirty and your clothes wet\, and help keep Lake Rabun beautiful! \nIf you have a boat\, please bring it to help pick up trash. We need as many boats as possible. Whalers\, pontoon boats\, and runabouts work great for shoreline pick up\, and we even have wave runners out there pulling in debris. If you don’t have a watercraft\, there is still plenty to do. Just remember to bring gloves\, sunscreen\, and a hat. We’ll provide the trash bags and trash grabbers. \nVolunteers should meet at the Rabun Beach Boat Ramp. \nIf you plan to attend\, please RSVP to Melissa and Bob Clinkscales at (404) 218-2879 or at rmclink@aol.com by Sept. 9. We’ll have a complimentary lunch after we finish\, so we need an accurate head count. \nEveryone is welcome! Many people participate in the spring and fall cleanups year after year — which is one of the best testimonies to how much fun it is to spend the day with lake friends helping maintain our beautiful lake.
