Lakemont University presents: “Memories of Lewis Grizzard”

This Saturday, 5:00, at the pavilion, author Peter Stoddard will revisit the legacy of his favorite columnist, Lewis Grizzard. In recent years, Peter has spoken with many folks who knew Lewis, and collected many rarely heard Grizzard stories. In 2019, he published his first book, Lewis Grizzard: The Dawg That Did Not Hunt. And in 2020, he produced a 1981 Grizzard humor CD with an intro by Loran Smith.

Peter loves to tell these Grizzard stories to any interested group, and will sign books and CDs after the meeting for $20 each. He also loves to answer your questions, and is eager to hear your own Grizzard stories. Join us as we recall the life and times of a Georgia icon!
